Building Surveying
Our building surveying services can be tailored to suit the requirements of any project and the buildings involved. The main categories of Building Surveys we provide are:
Full Building Survey
A full building survey comments in detail on all aspects of a building. This is our most comprehensive building survey report and provides an in-depth analysis of the property’s condition. This survey is recommended for prospective buyers of a property, and can help with decision making around purchasing, including seeking additional advice and budgeting for repairs or restoration.
Building Condition Survey
A Building Condition Survey shows the condition of the property at the time of the survey. This kind of survey offers basic legal guidance and highlights any urgent defects requiring repairs. A condition survey is best suited to newer or more conventional buildings.
Defect Diagnosis
In a Defect Diagnosis survey, we identify the cause of building defects in both commercial and residential properties. This can be across a whole property, or specific part of a building of any age. We can offer advice on any repairing liability issues or other liabilities under design or construction warranties.
Contract Administration
As Contract Administrator, our role is to protect the interests of the Employer both in contractual and administrative roles on design and build contracts.
